Photowalk October 2008

For this photowalk we went to Gardner Village, which is a historical village on the Jordan River west of here. It has a large mill building that houses a restaurant and general store now with a little village that has a number of crafty or sweet shops. Usually not my cup ‘o tea but nice. What I didn’t know before I got there was that it was decorated up for Halloween. Halloween here is a funny thing. It’s the one day where all the uptight people in this valley feel like they can cut loose, dress up crazy and be someone else. I suppose I could be wrong here, but it’s as big as Christmas! People go all out and even decorate their houses! I can barely decorate for Christmas. I know, I am a Grinch. I get told every year, but that’s another post.

I was skeptical of what I would find there, but was surprised at the number of opportunities to take pictures. I also learned more about my camera, which was awesome. I love my camera. Witches were there in abundance and I did take some pictures of them. As well as some of the eats available. I found my eye drawn to things I would not normally see, but when I looked, things leaped out at me. So, here are a few pictures that you may enjoy.
