Blogging My Autobiography - Chapter 27

I’ve been everywhere, man, I’ve been everywhere.

In the course of vacations and business trips I have visited 20 countries, all 50 states, every major metropolitan area (and some not so major) in the US and Canada and not nearly as many national parks as I would like, but working on that one. Favorite city in the entire world, that would be Denver Metro of course.

There are so many others. Right now I have 235 total visited on my list but it’s not complete. I suspect that it will reach close to 500 when I am done.
Here is the full list of favorites and a map:

  1. Tokyo, Japan

  2. London, England

  3. Singapore, Singapore

  4. Sydney, Australia

  5. Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

  6. Monte-Carlo, Monaco

  7. San Francisco, CA, USA

  8. New York City, NY, USA

  9. Amsterdam, The Netherlands

  10. Copenhagen, Denmark

Here are a few category based rankings across all cities I have visited:
Best Food City - New Orleans
Best Meal I ever had - Black Pepper Crab in Singapore
Best Steak - Racine, Wisconsin
Best Scenery - Juneau, Alaska
Worst Scenery - Anywhere in West Texas
Most History - London, UK
Strongest DejaVu - Copenhagen, Denmark

Most Boring - Lincoln, Nebraska
Place I Never Want to Go Back To: Anywhere in West Texas
Most Interesting People - New York

Most Surprising Law - No clothes allowed in the co-ed only sauna - Munich, Germany
Most Humid - Houston, TX

Coolest Thing I Have Done - Climb Fujiyama in Japan

There is something interesting in every city that I have visited over the years, even in West Texas. It was the sign that said, “Amarillo, Where the West Never Dies.” The LL in Amarillo were a pair of cowboy boots. Travel has expanded my horizons greatly. I still want to go to Africa, The Holy Land and see the Pyramids. Venice and Rome are on the list as well. If I don’t make it, well, I can read, can’t I?
